♦Only want records sent to your email address and not mailed to you? Then, please check the following option: "I would like my records sent electronically and NOT via Mail". - however: You must also check the box next to the document or your order will be denied.
⇒Note: If your order total is "$5.00", that means that you have not selected the actual document, and have only been charged the student convenience and processing fee. Your order will be denied and you will need to submit a new application.
♦Requesting Electronic Official Transcript for College? Unless your college or program has told you otherwise, most will only accept electronic records as "Official" if they are submitted to them directly from us - the school or school district. Be aware that if this is the case for your school/college, and you choose to have an "Official" copy of your transcript emailed to you instead of to the school, they will likely determine that it is not acceptable as official. If the school does not accept your copy, you will be responsible for submitting a new application.
⇒What to do instead: To route an electronic request to be delivered to a school, when you reach the "Delivery Address" section of the application, select "Educational Institution" from the drop-down box and enter the name of your school.
♦We do not have copies of diplomas: We understand the sentimental value and we're sorry that we cannot help. The only copies of diplomas that schools have are distributed to students upon their graduation. Neither Leon County Schools - nor individual school sites - are able to provide duplicate diploma certificates. We provide Official High School Transcripts, which are recognized as standard proof of your graduation for any employer, agency, or university.
♦Was your last year of attendance prior to 1997? Research Fee for Older Records: There is a $10 research fee if you graduated or withdrew prior to 1997. If you withdrew or graduated prior to 1997, in addition to the document you are requesting, you must also select the box, "Mandatory Microfilm fee - Request for students enrolled prior to 1997". If you do not select this fee box, your order will be declined and you will need to submit a new application.
♦Identity Verification: You will need to provide (upload) a clear image of your valid photo id. If you do not, your order may be declined and you will need to submit a new application.
♦Are you an individual hoping to complete this records request for someone other than yourself? Per District policy and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) student records are only available to those who have authorization from the student or parent, guardian or responsible person if the student is less than 18 years of age. If the student is 18 years of age or older, school records will not be released to a parent, guardian, or responsible person without the student providing a signed and dated written consent as well as a clear copy of their valid photo id. If you do not provide these two things, your order will be declined.
⇒If you are the legal representative for an individual 18 years or older, you will need to provide official documentation indicating your appointment, as well as a clear copy of your valid photo id. If you do not provide this, your order will be declined.
♦Check Your Email: You will receive emails from scribOnline@scribsoft.com to notify you of the status of your order. You are responsible to read those emails carefully, as additional information may be required to process your request.
